Product Overview

The DL Series Screw Sludge Dewatering Machine is designed for continuous sludge dewatering. It uses fixed rings, moving rings and a screw filter structure to complete sludge thickening and press dewatering in one machine.

After sludge is mixed with polymer in the flocculation tank, stable sludge flocs enter the dewatering body. The screw shaft pushes the sludge forward, while filtrate is discharged through the gaps between the rings.

In the thickening section, filtrate is quickly discharged through the relative movement between fixed rings and moving rings. In the dewatering section, the screw chamber volume gradually shrinks, and the internal pressure increases through the pressure plate. The sludge is compressed step by step and finally discharged as sludge cake.

The gap in the thickening section is 0.5 mm, and the gap in the dewatering section is 0.3 mm and 0.15 mm. As the screw pitch becomes narrower from the thickening section to the dewatering section, the equipment generates pressure and discharges dewatered sludge cake.

The basic process flow is:

Flocculation → Screw Conveying → Filtration → Press Dewatering → Sludge Cake Discharge
