Product Overview

The Lamella Clarifier, also known as a Lamella Plate Clarifier or Inclined Plate Settler, is a compact solid-liquid separation system using multiple inclined plates inside the tank. These inclined plates divide the water depth into many shallow settling layers, increasing the effective settling area and shortening the settling path of suspended particles.

Compared with conventional clarifiers, the inclined plate structure improves settling efficiency, reduces footprint, and supports stable suspended solids removal in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment. Wastewater usually enters the clarifier after coagulation and flocculation. Suspended solids settle onto the inclined plate surface, slide down into the sludge collection area, and are discharged by the sludge removal system.

The system can be used for primary clarification, intermediate clarification, or advanced clarification. Plate material, plate spacing, tank material, sludge discharge method, mud scraper, and online backwashing system can be configured according to project requirements.
