Product Overview

The XS Series Inclined Screen Solid-Liquid Separator is designed for wastewater pretreatment and industrial solid-liquid separation. It removes suspended solids, fibers, floating matter, and coarse impurities from wastewater, helping reduce the load on downstream pumps, pipelines, DAF systems, clarifiers, and biological treatment units.

The equipment uses gravity flow and a wedge wire screen for separation. Wastewater is pumped into the feed distribution box and flows evenly onto the inclined screen surface. Water passes through the screen gaps by gravity, while solids are retained on the screen surface and slide downward to the scum outlet. When equipped with a screw conveying and repressing system, the separated solids can be further transported and pressed to reduce water content.
