Product Overview

The High-Efficiency Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) System is a compact solid-liquid separation unit for industrial and municipal wastewater treatment.

The system uses pressurized dissolved air water to generate fine microbubbles. These microbubbles attach to suspended solids, oil droplets and flocs, reducing their apparent density and lifting them to the water surface. The floating scum is then removed by a skimmer, while clarified water is discharged from the clean water outlet area. This working principle is consistent with the common DAF process used for oil and solids removal in wastewater treatment.

DAF can be used for wastewater pretreatment, reclaimed water reuse, advanced treatment and phosphorus removal from tailwater. It is suitable for reducing SS, COD, BOD, oil and grease, turbidity and total phosphorus before downstream biological treatment, filtration, reuse or discharge.
