Project Background
A municipal wastewater treatment plant in Vietnam faced high sludge moisture content and unstable thickening performance before dewatering, which increased the burden on downstream sludge dewatering.
Solution
The plant used an FRDT Rotary Drum Sludge Thickener with a treatment capacity of 25 m³/h to improve sludge concentration efficiency before the downstream dewatering process.
Project Results
After operation, the sludge concentration increased from 0.8% to 4%. The FRDT Rotary Drum Sludge Thickener helped reduce the downstream dewatering load and lowered polymer consumption by 20%.
