Product Overview
The FBT Series Belt Sludge Thickener is designed for continuous thickening and preliminary dewatering of low-concentration sludge. It is suitable for sludge with an inlet solid content of about 0.4–1.5%.
After flocculation, the sludge is evenly distributed onto the moving filter belt. Free water drains through the belt by gravity, increasing the sludge concentration before the next dewatering process.
For general municipal biochemical sludge, the outlet sludge solids content can reach about 5–7%. For certain sludge types, when equipped with a hydrophobic plough, pressure plate or pressure axis, the outlet solids content can reach about 10–12%. The belt operating speed can be adjusted between 3–18 m/min.
In municipal wastewater treatment plants, it can be used before a belt press to improve sludge concentration and reduce hydraulic load. In textile dyeing wastewater treatment, it can support stable sludge thickening and help reduce operation cost.
